Description
40 mm NATO gas mask T-connector
The 40 mm threaded T-connector fits between the mask and its existing air-intake system. Made of solid brass or stainless steel depending on the reference, it resists corrosion and frequent washing in soapy water. The standard NATO thread guarantees a reliable seal with flexible latex hoses or metal conduits, allowing airflow to be diverted to a second outlet (pump, additional filter, or breath-restriction system). Its T shape offers two side outlets of the same diameter, ideal for fitting a mask with a backup system or an evaporative cooling circuit.
- Solid brass: natural warmth, excellent thermal conductivity and great durability against wear over time.
- Stainless steel: a cool, modern finish with maximum resistance to aggressive cleaning products and ambient damp.
- 40 mm NATO thread: a universal standard compatible with the majority of military and collector masks currently on the market.
- Twin side outlets: lets you branch the circuit to a second accessory without cutting the main line.
- Sealing gasket included: in hard-wearing rubber, it holds leak-free even under moderate pressure.
- No special tools needed: hand-tightened or with a spanner depending on the model, no soldering required.
Within a session, this connector acts as a technical junction for building out breath-restriction play: attach a hose leading to an air pump or to a temporary locking system. After use, take the hoses off, rinse the connector in lukewarm water and dry it carefully before storing it in a padded case to avoid scratching the thread.
My take
