Description
The scent injector is an accessory dedicated to advanced sensory play, designed to fit onto a gas mask or a breath-restriction device. Made of lacquered metal or hard-wearing plastic depending on the model, it guarantees a good seal and durability against products and lubricants. Its diffusion system sprays a fine mist of the chosen aroma, transforming the atmosphere of a session without obstructing the main airflow.
It is generally used beforehand: you saturate the internal space with a targeted scent, reinforcing the sensory mood being aimed for. Easy to fill and to clean, it makes for a reusable tool.
Role in a session. Smell is the only sense that can be neither closed nor turned away: you do not stop smelling. That is what makes this accessory particular once sight, hearing and speech have already been taken away — it remains the last channel through which the Dom can act without touching. Programmed on cycles, here 40 seconds of injection then 1 min 30 of standby, it works autonomously: the scent returns at regular intervals, with no way to anticipate it or escape it, which sets a rhythm you do not control.
In the sequence, the reservoir is filled during the filling step, the air circuit is tested during preparation, and the connection to the mask hose is made right at the end, just before the final settings.
Precautions. Only known, safe substances, at low concentration. Never a solvent, never a product of unknown composition, and never in combination with breath restriction: inhaling something at raised concentration in air already low on oxygen is exactly the combination to avoid. Poppers fall under the same prohibition in this context. Ventilate the room, stop immediately at the first dizziness, headache or breathing discomfort. Always test it disconnected before hooking it up.
Care. Empty the reservoir after each use, rinse the mechanism with lukewarm water, avoiding harsh solvents that would damage the seals, then dry completely before storage to prevent deposits and rancid odours.
My take
L'injecteur ajoute une dimension inattendue : l'odeur s'impose, sans possibilité de détourner la tête. C'est un rappel constant de l'enfermement, qui travaille bien plus longtemps que la sensation physique.
Le point de vigilance est sérieux : uniquement des substances connues, en très faible concentration, et jamais en même temps qu'une restriction respiratoire. C'est exactement le genre d'accumulation qui tourne mal. Au moindre vertige, on arrête et on aère.
Recommandé quand le circuit est déjà maîtrisé, à éviter en découverte.
